Useful advice is just continue, practice as much as possible, try not to get frustrated. If you try to force it, you'll delay any improvements in your skill, I find if I get stuck it sometimes helps to set it aside temporarily. I often will start something else and find myself solving the problem rather shortly.
Not everyone will like everything you do, just do what you can the best you can, as long as you like your end result, that is what really matters.
